One-Application Fertilizing

Get four applications of fertilizer in one application. It is billed and priced the same as a three application product. Say goodbye to guessing when the next fertilizer application is needed.

1. The first pellet releases right away up to 45 days.
2. Second pellet releases after 45-90 days.
3. Third pellet releases after 90-120 days.
4. Fourth pellet releases 120 to the end of the year and beyond for spring green up the following year.

Regular fertilizer programs are also available if desired.

Eco-Friendly Fertilizer

Fertilizing runoff can create water quality problems like algae. One-application fertilizer stays on the lawn the entire year. Other companies spread fertilizer granular pellets 3-4 times a year that land on roads and have a better chance of running off into our lakes and streams. I believe everyone should be using this product.

Weed Control

herbicides and integrated pest management

We use the best herbicides and use “IPM” which stands for Integrated Pest Management.

Integrated Pest Management is when we survey the property before we do the application and target the areas that need to be treated. We use our products wisely and try to use the least amount of any pesticide on any application.  This is the best practice and safest for the environment.

All applicators will be licensed by the state Minnesota and forego back ground checks.

*The most natural way to control weeds is aeration and over seeding in the fall. This will thicken up the lawn and weeds with have fewer spots to plant themselves.

Tough to Control Weeds

Crabgrass

Crabgrass is not a broad leaf weed. We have to treat crabgrass differently.  The best way to treat crabgrass is in the spring with a-Pre emergent application.

Yellow Nutsedge

This weed needs special attention with a spot spray application with a certain type of product.

Wild Voilet

We can control this weed with a herbicide designed for this weed.

Fungus and Disease Control

Overwatering is the main reason for Fungus.  People that water daily are more likely to develop a fungus in their lawn.

Lawn Fungus

insect control in lawn

Insects and grubs can make a healthy lawn look yellow. We apply a granular application in the spring to control these problem pests.
